    Thank you!

I’m aware of the cold side pipe issue. It was worse for the 11-16s but still an issue for the 17+. Next year, I plan to swap out to an SPE pipe and eliminate the issue altogether. I’m on the fence about a Banks system for it. I really like their approach to tuning and not even so much for power but just to make them run right. The SPE pipe will definitely happen fairly soon, the Banks derringer is likely nothing more than wishful thinking.

Fair point, nobody from RI likes to leave the state. More than 20 minutes, you need an overnight bag. It's kind of funny down here. It's nice though, the culture is about not spending hours on a commute. I'm 10-15 minutes from work, it's great.

I had the 2.5 S, so the big engine (The 4 banger in the colorado is 2.5L, keep that in mind :D) and the sport trim suspension. That was not fun on washboard roads, but hot damn was that fun on clean roads.

...Making me miss it. Might need to find one on the facebook or the craigslist.

I'd honestly look into deleting some emissions systems, at least the EGR. That will do nothing but cause head and heart aches. There should be a way of keeping the EGR in place, but "deleting" it with a tune. By plugging it in, it should look as though its functioning normally, but be disabled.

Charge piping is always a great idea. Your truck hits what, like 35-40lbs of boost stock? I'm lucky to see 20 in my truck with the up pipes leaking the way they are. No fun!

Anything Banks is worth the money. They don't pursue gimmicks, they go for proven results, revisions, and improvements. I'm a huge fan of their stuff- my wallet however, not so much!

I've got a clean ass 2013 Crosstrek begging for a new home! Except its not clean, it burns a quart of oil every 800 miles, and it has 165k on it.

It seems like a great workhorse! Low RPM grunt, lower compression for less overall stress on the engine, and decent-ish performance. It won't win any races, but I think a lot of fleet vehicles will soon be replaced with them. A lot of fleets right now run 6.2's because of the PowerStroke reputation of-late. Now, of course, we have a better 6.7, but most fleets try to get about 10 years out of their trucks if possible. So we'll see what they start buying up once they rotate vehicles out!

I've done it on the bike and a snowmobile and I'm amazed that they actually let people drive themselves on that road. It's a miracle that more people don't drive off the side.

I dunno man, I rode up in one of their vans for the Climb to the Clouds and I was honestly mortified by the driver's approach to the whole thing. I think they were far too aggressive. It was like he was trying to set a record up that damn road.

I’d love to eliminate the emissions crap but I know you can’t without a tune which brings on a whole boat load of crap i’m not willing to deal with. The tune would effectively void my warranty so, as much as I know it’s choking my truck to death, as long as I keep up with the other stuff I can control, it should still last a very long time. One of the reasons i’d go Banks is it’s a piggy back tuner and doesn’t leave traces on the ECU. I also like their approach to tuning, it’s responsible not just throwing more fuel at the truck and seeing what happens. His YouTube marketing of buying the competitors’ products and proving how crappy they really are is just awesome, in my opinion.

My truck’s boost gauge goes up to 40 psi but i’ve never seen it that high. Highest i’ve been able to make is just shy of 30 and that was unloaded with me burying my foot into it on an on ramp trying to lose a BMW that was up my ass (mission accomplished by the way).
Orly? If I had FU money, i’d love to find a low mileage pre emissions diesel and rock that as a daily driver. Even a bullet proofed 6.0 would be cool.

I’m in the same camp. I can’t even watch those videos of people climbing guide towers or skyscrapers. I start getting sweaty palms and my heart rate is up. I like hiking though!

One day I’d like a nice 350 single/access cab with a flatbed and don’t have much interest in the modern diesel.

the guy around here who does my lifts for me has an old 90s Ford sd that is super clean looking and sounds great he tows with. I love those boxy things, and would be happy with one of them as well.

So when would we want to do this? I'd want it to be warm out so it's not disgusting on the top (conditions can be quite different!). Is it something that we want go quickly to do or is it something that we want to push off so people can get the time off for?

Oh and don't worry about @DoubleRGirl ! A couple drinks and she'll be passed out in a passenger seat!
