Did your shift know have the plastic clip for the boot like the oem setup? Wondering if you went like this if you could still install my oem pro knob.

No it does not have the oem style boot retainer. @7r41lbr34k3r "Version 2" knobs have his own boot retention system. But if you want a Core shifter with your stock Pro knob, There is no need to modify the boot or retainer, you just need a bushing to adapt the thread pitches like shown above.

Good to hear from another satisfied customer.
If anybody is interested, it appears they currently have a couple in stock.
    Mine has already shipped.

if anyone is interested, here's a video of mine going through the gears so you can see how tight & mechanical it is.
mine has an extension on the arm (about 2.5") so the throw is longer and it sits higher than the stock Core. same aside from the extension and my knob.

im just gonna say this. take it how you will. if you have a manual trans, youre doing yourself a disservice if you dont get this. just give the truck a whole different dynamic. youre no longer feeling like youre rowing a canoe when you shift. couple this with sprint booster or even ovt if you want the whole shabang. either will get rid of the the throttle delay, and now my friends, you got a truck that has attitude on the street.

    Canada Eh!
That’s exactly what I did. Used the supplied cue ball knob for a bit, then decided to return the appearance to stock.

    Simple $10 adaptor and voila.

Sorry but you may have to wait a little bit longer.
The order I made on august 6th says shipped but they do say that it's a 2 weeks delay before it actually ship.

Yepper, like it says: the shipper has been created but it hasn't shipped yet. What threw me the curve ball was the FOUR IN STOCK noted on the order page.

Oh well. Let me know when yours shows up and I'll know mine will be not too far behind! LOL

ALSO: did I read the current shaft has been bent back and a little to the left for a more natural position?

Did you request any specific changes on the lever design or just order what they recommended?

you don't have many options to customize the Core aside from the knob. there is only one other Hurst shaft that will fit in a natural position in the Tacoma, Hurst part 0131. they are no longer made, i have the last one. it's shorter than the stock included Core arm and i got it to run an extension.

recently Core did a minor redesign for the bracket that secures the shaft to the assembly, and it moved the top of the arm a little bit for comfort. but there are no options about it, it was a simple redesign.

Ah yes, that’s what I was hoping to hear. I THOUGHT I read they made a design change to position the ball in a more natural location.
Man, I’m sure looking forward to getting this installed.
