You don't need to sand it AT all. And I would just use Plastidip. I did mine back in the day and it came out very nice.

How did the plastidip hold up being on the grill?
i really like my 2020 grill but i hate that is grey not black. I've been debating using some rattle can bedliner on it and clearing it to give it a black look.

After like two years (and two winters) I had a couple pin holes I hit with a black permanent marker to hide them. Otherwise it was perfect. I did like 5 (or 7) thin coats of black and then 4 coats of Glossifier (yes, that a Plastidip thing)

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Plasti-D...UzWkxDcCEZHVAtduMkyR0Mm4Q7aNeHsxoC6RAQAvD_BwE

And that definitely made it more black. It also makes it less likely to be easily damaged.

Well it works still! Send me those quick release brackets. I don’t really want the awning up all the time but it does make my truck look more “tacticool”:infantry:

I recently saw them for $100 used. I'll look for them. 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen are the same as long as the cab size is the same. Meaning, Double Cab, Access Cab & Single Cab.

You can also order them online. They're not that expensive. I'll find a link.

Russ, Here is a used in good condition sold by Amazon. I endorse any purchase like this and have made many. They list them as used but 99% of the time it is just a ripped box.

    https://www.amazon.com/Gazelle-3330...YCV870EWEB6&psc=1&refRID=7Q492ZXJ4YCV870EWEB6

Your not gonna find a better deal. Best part is, since it is sold by Amazon you get their full warranty!

Edit! They have a Overland Edition now!

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C6CS7P4/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza

It comes with a footprint, heavier stakes, and a water resistant carry bag. Same price I paid for my orange one. The green one is a better deal. As long as the tent actually is in good shape I'll trade you my orange for the green. Mines never been used either. LOL

I will have to check. I thought the Pro's came with 14" but will check.
Because you have the Fox up front correct? I guess I should get ready to install those other rear packs I have.
