I tend to agree a little, Ryan. However, even at 800lbs, that's a fair bit of extra weight difference compared to a lighter setup for camping/wheeling.

I was gonna recommend Dakar HDs, but then you;ll end up like myself, pulling a leaf to soften the rear for daily and wheeling reasons when it's empty.

i totally agree, that's a huge weight delta. tough to find a Goldilocks solution there.

I have deaver Stage 2 in the rear with one over load and one regular leaf pulled. This gives me a little leeway to add armor in the future. Also, that's why I got adjusters, to compensate a little bit on the fly. It's softly sprung for the road, but i hope I get good, easy travel offroad.

It's true, there is no goldilocks answer here. I've got the daily situation mostly figured out, now I'm looking forward trying this big fat beast offroad to see if I can dial that situation in as well.

Also, don't frickin cancel! I've been trying for years to fit one of these meets (meats?) Into my schedule.

Trip hates the ferd Raptor, he bashes it worse than A/Ts on a Tacoma LOL. He keeps telling me he wants me to get a Dodge like him. We watched the TRX on youtube today and he was like "can you buy this?" I told him its not for sale yet. He says "why would anyone buy a Raptor if they could by this?!?!" I lolold

Because Dodge. But if you are into catfish-lookin, bed rustin, breakin'-downin' Fiat engineered, with plastic-y interior pieces of a Stratus...then yeah, why buy a Braptor?

But if its got a Hellcat then yes absolutely.

Trip doesn't pretend to have any actual facts, I've pointed out to him that it's just his opinion on LOTS of things. He's turning 7 in Nov, thinks he has it all figured out tho.
