Most of us don't run much more than 1 to 1.5 on the preload.
But the answer to any coil replacement to keep lift is typically a stiffer spring rate...
    Stock I believe are 600
Stock icons or kings or fox come with 650 unless you request 700's and also request spring length.
I would call marie over at @HeadStrong Off-Road

You will need the 700's if you go that route.

I mean I pulled up tech specs and called icon tech people to verify about where mine stands and their recommendations and they said 2.13” is max and under 2” not gonna give me the best ride quality. But yes your right about the confusion because I was confused myself when they said to put in between 2” and 2.13”

You level or raked front to back? Adding a heavy to the front will be negative results on the springs at that preload, how’d the CV angles look?

    I'm thinking of swapping my 700s to 650s and I got bumper/winch.

I'm still confused why they said maxing preload is better ride quality. I give up.

I'd want an explanation of why personally. Goes against the basic concept for coilovers and ride quality.
    Well, good luck.

@Dansly56 find some Icon threads and ask the masses that run them.
