What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

It’s OTD including all fees and local taxes (3.875%). Again, it’s the base Limited price without any additions. I added about $1,500 so my total OTD price will be $42,400 + $1,500 or $43,900.

 

I got a 2020 TRD Off Road with Technology Package in Black yesterday for $ 37,389 plus TTL...Southwest Houston TX.

 

I should have specified, it is before TTL, but I am also an Alaska resident shopping in WA and I am shipping the truck directly to Alaska, so I don't pay the sales tax or the title/reg. Just a temp plate for getting it to the port. I do, however, have to pay $1200 for the shipping.

I feel even if I wait until the 2021s start rolling in that I will still only save maybe ~1500 off this price.

 

I've contacted a bunch of dealerships in the last few weeks - almost everyone has said that MSRP is a good deal and that some would sell above. I have a deposit on a 2020 Cement OR DCSB with:
- Premium
- Advanced Tech
- LED lights
- All-weather mats

MSRP of 44,773

If anyone else in the PNW is having a different experience I'd love to hear about it. Either negotiating down or getting additional things thrown in. Anything to be done?

You are sitting at 7.8% off msrp. There's more wiggle room. Is that including the 1000 dollar rebate?

 

I’m getting 9.2% off MSRP. There might be more wiggle room in there but If you look back through the thread at the past couple months, I’d say that compared to that you’re doing better than most. Especially being the fact that that’s a very highly desirable package/color combination. If that’s not including the rebate then you should pull the trigger yesterday. And even if it is then you have to weigh out how badly you want a good deal versus how bad that you want that truck.

 

Yes, that includes the $1000 rebate.

I'm in California, most dealers here are marking this configuration up.

Especially, cement color.

I had to look out of state to get 7% off MSRP with rebate.

 

You can knock more off. If you were to knock 1k off you would be sitting on 10.2% off msrp. Very hard to do currently with the shortage. If you really want it get it, but try to get more off.
edit: remember, the dealer always gets the rebate money back from the manufacturer. They don't lose money like they usually state.

Anyone have any inside knowledge on future Limited model availability? Also the lack of LED kit? Was having trouble finding anything online about the scarcity although I did read about the COVID hiccups that seem to be getting resolved. I’m in Denver and both the LED and the Limited appear to be more difficult than the pro to find within a 500 mile radius. It almost seems like I’d have to spend more to get close with an equivalent Sport or OR (with LED kit/prem/adv tech) but minus the leather. I’m very willing to wait until Oct/Nov for the 21s to drive the price down on 20s but trying to get my ducks in a row before then. I think I’d be happy with any of the 3 builds mentioned but also trying to have some negotiating leverage when I pull the trigger. Also it seems like my preference for Cement (not a requirement) is also adding an extra layer of difficulty.

 

When I ordered mine 10 days ago there were 8 in the Southeast in the Metallic Gray. I was able to add the LED interior/exterior kit. I can give you my Dealer’s number if you want it.

 

Thanks for the offer! I was hoping to actually put eyes on one/test drive before I pull the trigger without traveling. At least with the other 2 I can test drive some models and have negotiating leverage if they want to move. They must just be in such high demand around here since they are manufactured in the SW from what I can gather.

 

Like I said, I got 3 quotes from with 50-60 miles. This was the lowest. Tried to get them down $1000 more but they wouldn’t budge. It’s all supply and demand.
