    Hmm...

But for off-road only. Is that because of the recent NHSTA mandate on led replacement bulbs?

Replacement LED bulbs are not street legal in headlights and never have been. Any credible manufacture would state 'off road only' to avoid implying otherwise.

On the box it actually says Limited Headlights.
But, other than the TRD Pro, these LED headlights are an add on, only after you have optioned out for certain packages.

I recall it is not available in Canada, except for the Limited and Pro.

Out of curiosity where has everyone gotten their ge +130s? The sites I seem to find them in stock on seem rather not trustworthy

Tungsram is GE’s parent company. The GE label is no longer being used on automotive bulbs, and so the labeling is changing over to Tungsram. The product is identical.

I have a 2020 Taco SR5 which has an h11 LED 55w bulb for the low beams and a Phillips - Germany h9 65w reflector for the high beam. The owner's manual lists both of these 'bulbs' as halogen but that is not correct. I called the dealer parts store and they tell me I can only replace the whole headlight assembly to replace one bulb. I don't believe them. I can't tell who made the h11 LED bulb as there seems to be no identifying markings on the LED 'bulb'. The low beam bulb is clearly marked by Phillips Germany. Any ideas on replacement LED 'bulbs' for future use when mine goes hasta la vista baby? I have read the whole first page of this thread and found it enlightening. Working on reading the other 151 pages. It seems to me that the 2020 model I have already has incorporated the better lighting system crashnburn80 suggested maybe due to this thread?

Welcome! If you have an LED low beam and a halogen high beam, it means someone put an aftermarket LED in your halogen assembly. The OEM LEDs do not have removable bulbs and the headlight assemblies are completely sealed, no serviceable bulbs. A replacement LED in the halogen assembly performs poorly, your LED is likely a downgrade and the halogen bulb upgrades will perform better in the halogen housing. No need to read all the pages, all the info is updated and contained in posts 1-3, save preliminary OEM LED testing in the last couple pages.

I'd be willing to bet your parts guy is mixing up which headlight assemblies you actually have. If you have H11 and H9 bulbs, you have the halogen housings. The optional (on lower trim levels) LED housings do not have replaceable "bulbs." I'd also bet if you pull either your low or high beam bulbs that you'll find they are indeed halogens. This of course assumes nobody slapped in aftermarket LED bulbs.

As for ideas on LED bulbs for future use, do us all a favor and don't do it. No reputable manufacturer even sells LED headlight bulbs anymore. They've all been pressured to pull their dreadful products off the market by government regulators.

Crashnburn & stoked, I beg to differ with you. I just bought it straight from the dealer and it wasn't on the lot for more than several days. The dealership is a high volume one so they move a lot of Tacos. I have pulled the bulbs on both high and low and they are as I described. Would you like a picture? If as Crashnburn contends that I have an aftermarket headlight, then the dealership has done something that is uncouth and possibly illegal? Stoked you have lost your bet. What was the wagger? The vehicle is new manufactured in Mejico and just arrived before I bought it with less than 3 miles on the odo so I doubt that anyone put after market lights on at the dealership. It is a strange world is it not?

Being a fellow 2020 SR5 owner, I am almost 100% certain you have halogen low and high beams. I’m not even sure if LED headlights is an option on SR5s.
Just try pulling a bulb, if you can, it’s halogen.

Yes, I would love a picture of both the low and high beams bulbs.

Spoiler Alert: I work in Service at a Toyota dealership.

Does your Monroney sticker say you have LEDs? If not, than you don’t have legitimate OEM LEDs.

It would be interesting to see a picture of the low beam bulb. Replacement LED headlight bulbs are not legal, and not used by Toyota or any other car manufacture. So if you have a replacement LED bulb in there, it was put in there after the vehicle left the factory.
