Anyone have access to a press? I’m trying to press out some bushings from a pair of control arms and I’d be happy to pay you for your time!

Man just rewatched Top Gun the other day while prepping some ribs too lol. I was more concerned about water getting into the cab. The LC looked like it was on 35s and a tad taller. I still want a snorkel, just not any of the premade ones out right now...I think I'm going to have to order some pre bent aluminum and DIY my own and run it through the fender.

Has anyone figure out a way to over clock the blower motor on a second gen yet? The amount of air that it outputs is disappointing

And yes the cabin filter is clean

Not too much damage. Caught the driver's side rear bumper on something. And rearranged the front a bit. Very slight considering I hit the end of a large log repeatedly! o_O

Im reading conflicting info about a drain and fill vs a flush. Some people are saying Toyota recommends just a drain and fill if you are at high mileage (mines at 175k) apparently this is a hot topic on tacomaworld now that im researching it more.

Last minute, ready to set up camp find. Right off 410 and on the American River. River drowned out the traffic fairly well.
We stayed on 410 and proceeded to Crystal Mountain for a gondola ride to the top, a lunch and beer with a great view of Mt. Raineer and a hike back down.

Be mindful a flush is generally a machine that hooks up to the cooling lines and exchanges fluid that way. Some also run cleaning solutions. The cleaning solutions is usually what's bad.

All you are doing with the way I mentioned is basically just a bunch of drain and fills back to back.

It's easy enough to evaluate on the first drain. If it's rather dark change out more. If it's still pretty clear (well red) just do a bit)

It's like anything everyone has different opinions. I mean you'd think and oil change would be simple but people argue about that lol.

haha i know everything im reading keeps saying different stuff. I even called the toyota dealership to see what they say. They told me they would do a full flush and wanted $335 plus tax to do it. 85 in fluid and 2-3 hours in labor! They said i could really mess up my transmission if i dont replace the fluid with the exact amount and at the exact temp. This is starting to get out of hand fast!

Hmmm. I know with the lowers you can use the stock bottle jack to push them out. Dunno bout the uppers. Just normally toss them in the trash and get new ones.

Well you can mess it up if you don't get the levels right but it's not rocket science if they let their techs do it :)
