Her name is Missy. I bought her from a Navy couple stationed at the sub base in St. Marys. They bought her at the Pecan Park Flea Market. She was born at Precious Puppies Puppy farm in Jax, Fla.

They were getting transferred and didn't want to take her with them.

Best $200 I ever spent.

Installed the Bro grill, slider-looking running boards, plasti-dipped the badges and limited fog bezels, body color mirrors, installed OEM roof rack, plasti-dipped the limited wheels to gunmetal color. Tires are still stock - can’t justify getting rid of newish tires. I also like my air dam - to each his own

That is my bad on that one. There are alot of those out there to choose from. I honestly doubt the location on hers will effect the sound enough for me to not enjoy it. I will let you know when I recieve mine how I like it overall and if i notice a change it the stereo performance.along with some pics for the page of course

 

Pleased so far. I did fronts and rears with the deaver single add a leaf in the back. They are set at whatever they came set at. I didn’t adjust them. I would’ve adjusted one side if I had a spring compressor to account for the little bit of lean I have. Really impressed with the ride over the stock OR shocks. I live down dirt/gravel roads and it’s much smoother with these.

 

I will definitely keep that in mind when the time comes, they look perfect on your truck.

 

What is the ETA of the HUD you bought?
I thought it was still in the prototype stage?

 

This is the unit. I bought it as a curiosity and chose this one because it matches the instrument panel in colour. It is not perfect though because it only display up to 5 speeds. I did get a partial discount once I messaged the vendor about the issue. Hoping there might be an update available to solve that issue.
I have not placed the reflective plastic on the windshield yet because I have been experimenting with placement on the dash. I decided not to put it over the tweeter because I have already upgraded with a custom Bose tweeter install.

Thank you sir! I absolutely love the look and find myself just staring at her now. Someone asked earlier and yes they are wildpeaks. They look much more aggressive in person then they do in pictures.

 

Glock triggers are not hair-triggers in fact stock Glocks have a trigger pull of 5.39 pounds. I've customized most of my Glocks, especially my carry piece and my house gun and neither are any less than 4.5 pounds. That's what feels best for me.

Anyway, like I've said earlier in the thread....however a person chooses to carry is up to them, I don't have a dog in that fight, but there are a lot of misconceptions about Glocks specifically in this conversation. I am a Glock armorer and I've built my daughter's gun from an unfinished lower called an SS80, which is a Glock 43. I know these guns very well and I know what they can and can't do and a Glock cannot fire unless the trigger is pulled.

The ETA is unknown but I have a feeling it will be well worth the wait and not too far off at this point. She will probably have an update coming this week on the HUD but again I think it will be worth the wait either way.

 

Not sure how anyone can think that a block has a hair trigger. I guess they have never heard of double action vs single action with hammer guns like a Beretta 92 / have no real idea what they are talking about...

A 1911 can be dangerous to carry... Person clearly has maybe a gun that they have fired twice in the last 15 years.

A heavy trigger pull is not what makes a gun safe to carry. A proper holster that covers the trigger well completely and training is what makes a gun safe to carry.

Hit up @JimmyRigged88 for the side mirror adjuster knob, @rrentrop for the glove box key hole, and the search function for the black tailpipe THEN you'll be on my level haha. I'm not super concerned with the headrest posts as they aren't visible but I bet it's only a matter of time before the seat belt chrome is somehow covered with a @MESO product. Then all will be right with the world.

 

Welp, I can see what will be in my future soon because that is cool as hell! I do wish it wasn't sitting on top of the speaker. Does project over to the side of the windshield or is right in front of the driver where I feel like I'd prefer it to be?

I don't think it goes on with really aggressive glue. I have seen that you can purchase just the reflective plastic separately if you needed to replace the windshield.
