Oh I love winter camping the best! I can just tolerate summer camping too.

We will be riding in a watershed for two big steep mountains, it floods quick, some times over 20 feet

Damn, that’s kinda scary. Like the arroyos in the desert, they fill up with rainwater real quick!

Does this mean that we will ride over to Prentice Cooper if it rains?

    Yes
Im game or Big Fork. I’ll likely be heading to Prentice Cooper anyways on Sunday to scope out some camping spots for my monthly camping trips.

Fingers crossed we don’t have issues with rain, we will see the closer we get!

Guys don’t know if I’m going to be able to make it or not. If I can’t figure my truck out by Saturday I’m not coming because I don’t feel comfortable driving up to TN in the truck without having the proper amount of time to test and torque everything again.

I’m having issues with my shifter. It’s getting stuck in 4lo/ neutral. Also my shifter still is not staying attached to the tcase. I can’t figure out why it’s having the issue with getting stuck. It also doesn’t make the click noise for engage the on all the shifts. Was fine before I took the shifter out to modify.

I went with a set screw design and it comes off the set screw after a couple of shifts.

A roll pin may work better, drill through it and insert a roll pin all the way through it, it wont move then.

Hmm. I’m thinking I’m just gonna try to weld it again. The shifter issue might be because there isn’t enough leverage on the shifter. I’m going to try to extend the shifter handle too. It sits a little low.

You could even get it aligned like you want it and drill through it and use a small bolt and nut so you can remove it if you need to.
or drill and tap more holes in that collar and add more set screws
