What's the low down on the Psu. Used a calculator to get an idea of draw and I'm right around 430w.

If I go with a 750w gold modular will that be enough to grow with me in the near future? Trying to keep some efficiency.

Yup. Peak efficiency is right around 70-80% of max rated load. You don't want to go any higher because capacitors will age over time and lose their max rating.

Any brands more reputable than others? I don't mind spending the extra money here. I need my office as electrically quiet as possible.

I've always like Corsair. I've only had issues with PSUs I've bought from CompUSA back in the day lol

Oh there will be some mods all right
EVGA makes nice PSUs. Me and my dad are running them. One nice thing about them is the fan only turns on when needed.

I can only imagine how much bandwith of mine it will use up.

    Good to know!

Fan wise I'm not too concerned about the volume. More conserved with the RFI it throws off. I've got radio equipment in the room. But I'm assuming I'll just have to buy one to find out how much of a hit I'll take.

Corsair or EVGA would be my pick. Modular/Semi-modular helps a lot, too. Especially if your case isn't particularly large. I have this one.

Agreed. Unless I'm running something particularly crazy, anything over 80C for me means something is wrong lol

It all depends on how warm the room where your PC is also. I know in the summer time my GPU gets warm. I have a GTX 1080 though. I definitely have never seen about 78C. I monitor my shit all the time on my 2nd monitor.

95C is HOT! I'm sure on some cards you will get throttling at 95C. AMD cards do run hotter.

What do you use to adjust the fan curve? I have MSi Afterburner. My fan curve isn't super aggressive but I changed it to be more aggressive than stock. I have a warm running card (GTX 1080).

CompUSA! Damn haven't heard that name in a long ass time.

@Sterdog is a fan of it but not sure if he still plays it.

I'm excited for the new season today. Although they made some huge changes and I'm wondering how the maps will play now. I hope they didn't bite off more than they could chew.

I do commend them for trying to allow for more styles of game play with a game that's traditionally been an all push game
