nice dude, thats a great list of stuff. i need to get my motor and tranny mounts gusseted still and i want to run front bumps but i'll have to mod my TC kit alot. is the light bar gonna mount to the bed cage or on the roof close to the windshield? gonna look sweet dude, but it does suck when you dont have your truck... i know all about that haha

Sounds like a bunch of great plans. I have one comment for you though.

If you mount the light bar right in the front you will need to make a reflector like the one pictured below. My truck was lit up like a space ship with all 5 HIDs on. The glare bounces off the hood into the cab and your line of vision which makes the lights just as much of a hinderance as a help. Also I would suggest pencils up high and floods down low on your bumper. The pencils wont reflect as much and give you that far light while the floods on the bumper will give you a wide short view of whats right in front of you.

I got all this lighting info from Baja Designs as I was figuring out my set-up.

^ oohh thanks for the heads up, I will definitely tell Engage to factor that into the design. Engage was REALLY reluctant to do the light rack for me because Hassim says the sheet metal on the roof isnt strong enough to hold down a light rack, lights and tear through the desert. Im still not gonna go crazy in my truck cuz i dont have a roll cage or engine cage, but I hope it all works out.

is it going to mount to the bare roof or where the factory roof rack bolts in?

Access cabs dont have weld nuts under the weather stripping but he's gonna mount it under the weather stripping in the rails, not on the sheet metal on the roof

Good call. Thats how I did it.

I didnt use the welded nuts for the roof rack as an anchor point. It will work fine until I cage it and have tubing come out of the roof as a solid attachment point.:D

^ yea, i plan on having my light rack eventually tie into my cage, but that will have to wait cuz a cage is really unsafe for a daily driver
