Pulled trigger on a set of OME 883's, as I am going to be in there replacing a CV with a busted boot. Autozone lifetime warranty, so no real cost for CV. According to them, I had purchased remanufactured, back in '07, and now they no longer do reman's, so they replace with a new part, and they eat the difference. Since they aren't doing reman's, I am guessing the core will just go in dumpster. May try to con them out of it, and reboot for a trail spare.

    Follow up post.

Took it off road this past weekend. Lots of washboard and some rocky/bumpy off road.

Phone never moved and the mount was solid in the blank plate.

Nice work! Say, I'm curious about those two hoses you have connected on top of your throttle body. Where do those hoses go? I have the same ports on mine but they are capped off. I've always wondered what they were for.

Relaced my steering wheel cover. Leather was still perfectly fine, just had an area where the thread had worn, where I hook my thumb when road cruising. Used the two needle, baseball stitch, with some heavier nylon thread.

Nice job, did you replace the “fan bracket” has a bearing in there? This item for whatever reason is not part of the
timing belt items to be replaced and should be.

If this bearing locks up it CAN take out your radiator, shroud cover, fan, fan clutch etc.
I replace mine with every timing belt change.
This bearing has locked up on me two times over 630,000 miles so it’s replaced every 100,000 now.
