yo old folks , the mods don't like covid 19 talk . It's in the code of conduct beware.

 

Good Day Carl: It is so easy to blame someone or something for any problems. With this Covid 19 i as an individual need to do what I feel is comfortable to me. I cannot dictate how others should act or police their actions. I am responsible for me and my household. So much changing information as we continue to compile statistics from the pandemic. I feel sorry for anyone that has to work due to many different circumstances. I am not afraid of this Covid 19 but I am not going to do anything to make it easier to enter my body. I have a responsibility to my family and myself to avoid this virus. However it is interesting to listen to the younger persons whine. They do not have a clear understanding of their constitutional rights being violated the same way as I had to experience. Stay safe up there in PA. This virus really does not care who you are.

 

TY I was not aware of the violation. If a mod want me to delete my post please PM me and I will make it happen.

Neither did I Carl. As a senior this whole pandemic thing affects me differently than a younger person that has to work and/or has school age children.

 

Good morning, everyone!!! Finally got some rain overnight - we need it. I have to stain the porch - probably will do that today if it's dry. Otherwise, I have a project for tomorrow.

Happy Saturday (retirees). Another hot one here in Northern central California, 111 degrees today. Day 6 of a 10 plus day heat wave. I’ve cancelled all outdoor plans that take place after 9:00am. Can’t really complain since Death Valley California yesterday was 130 degrees Fahrenheit which the weather service said was highest recorded on earth at a place called Furnace Creek. They are cooling down today to 125.
Thank goodness we had a new air conditioner installed (house is only 8 years old) last year and just had it checked and tuned. Another day of reading and watching movies. Stay cool ya all.
