Getting a better clutch is very helpful here as well. I would be willing to lend a hand for these activities, but at a price. Sorry not sorry, changing my clutch wasn't 'enjoyable', but I now know what to not do.

Also, we all docked rather successfully at Presta's birthday party. Not gonna hold me back from shaking hands and hugging my homies!

Funny story - 2 weekends ago, we did the bp51's all the way around, UCA's Brake lines, brakes, rotors, sway bar linkages and bushings, AND URD stage 2 clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and TOB + URD Short shifter along with the Accumulator delete mod.

That was my first clutch job and i had LOADS of expert help. It wasn't much fun, but was totally worth it. The suspension, peripherals, and clutch job took a total of about 24-28 hours

Edit: Needless to say, i've made a lot of changes to the truck in the last 3 weeks or so... I'm still breaking things in and being easy on things for now. Watching and making sure shit doesn't fall apart lol. All of that + ovtune = amazing

Forgot you did a clutch already. World of difference for sure!

Bring tools to remove the sway bar, or pull it before you leave for the park.

I have tools to do pretty much anything and everything i would ever need to... i probably have tools and parts for things i don't know how to do hahaha.

I've flirted with the sway bar idea. Taking if off when wheeling makes sense, but what a bitch to do each time. Is there any quick disconnect system available? Not that i have any money left lol.
Usually it's me, the gf, and our two dogs in the truck and we do SO Much interstate from NKY south, so i think it's too dangerous to completely remove it for good. But i'm interested to try it next weekend.

My old man has a lot of Rona symptoms. Test comes back tomorrow so if it's positive I will have to back out.

Just so you know, the camping spot is a wide ass open dirt pit. No wiggling required, also no 4wd required to get in or out.

That said- I don't know how much actual wheeling you've done (driving the DBBB and fire roads isn't what I'm talking about), but you will learn fairly quickly that low range is an absolute necessity unless you want to destroy your clutch (aftermarket clutches aren't any less messed up from being dry dogged for days on end). It's also nice when everyone with an automatic truck stops in front of you on every goddamn hill climb in existence.

I've done a decent amount of difficult stuff, as difficult as possible on stock suspension. The best stretch was about 8-9 miles of Horse Lick Creek road near S Tree in Livingston area. Shit was ROUGH. With the recent upgrade, i haven't really pushed it yet. I'll work my way up as i start to better understand how the suspension feels and works.

I totally agree about low range and the clutch... 4hi is the death of my clutch. I'm used to wiggling around and doing tight trail turn arounds in a pickle. the 2wd lo is going to be a game changer for around camp

Josh is right. Camp is a big ass open field.

We normally don't have to turn around most trails, other easier trails offshoot everywhere there.
Look at the trail maps on their site and you'll see what I mean.

I've only been to one other offroad park - the one there at LBL in WKY. It was a bit overwhelming with the traffic and congestion. And holy hell, some of those side trails are gnarly! I'm used to the forest roads that go to crap... Spaas creek level stuff.
