Should I wait until after I install my add-a-leafs to do my alignment?

I installed front 5100's set to 2.5", and have new tires waiting at the tire shop to be mounted, with an alignment included as part of the tire installation. Is it important that I do my rear AAL install before having the alignment done? They are 2" AAL's.

In other words, if I have the alignment done first (before installing the AAL's), then lift the rear 2" later, would lifting the rear 2" mess with the front alignment in any way?

Yes. With the rear lower than the front, the caster will be more positive. With the rear higher, the front caster will be less positive. Too little positive caster is what causes wandering at high speeds.

OP, once you install your AAL, your caster will be less positive than it is now and will need realignment. If you're only going to align it once and can afford to wait, you will want your alignment post-AAL.
