The site seems to be shakey at best given that it just launched:
    https://www.ramtrucks.com/trx.html?channel=social&sid=SOCIG&pid=PRFLPUB20200810B

    Relevant stats:
    • Starting MSRP - $70k (reasonably equipped in the mid $80k range)
    • 702 hp/650 lb-ft torque coming from the 6.2l supercharged V8 of hellcat fame
    • 0-60: 4.5 seconds
    • 11.8” ground clearance; 13” front suspension travel; 14” rear travel
    • Bilstein remote resi-active shocks
    • Multi terrain select and some sort of full time 4wd and a host of electronic off-road goodies
Honestly it seems to be a solid contender on a brand new platform. I believe market completion is only a good thing but it’ll be interesting to see the reviews when they actually hit the streets.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of hype on YouTube for a while about this. Hopefully will start seeing some side by side and driving comparisons... also want to see someone jump it

Lol hopefully they’ve reinforced the frames a bit to not fall into the same trap as the gen 1 raptors.

That was so long ago they had a whole new gen 1500 release. I don’t mind the new design at all but I’m also biased as I own a new 2500. I also think the concept was on 37” M/Ts which make everything look cooler.

Sick truck and good competition for the Raptor.

So much money, but it's a serious piece of engineering. I'd love to drive one, maybe even own one some day. Good thing my small garage limits my current options lol.

They won’t race it in Baja tho.. :p

Jk it’s a badass truck. No lie. Interested to see how it fares against the Raptor

When the time came for me to move on from the Taco I literally bent over backwards to try and justify a Tundra (for me) and just couldn’t objectively do it. Toyota is supposed to be refreshing (at least announcing them) everything over the next 4 years. It’ll be interesting to see where they land and what features Toyota chose to benchmark into the new generations. It’s not on brand for them to ever make something like a TRX or Raptor though.

Oh no i i dont expect them to make a change that big but its the small things that bother me. Like why do we still have drum brakes in 2020?? Every trim level should have led lights by now, the infotainment screen is the size of a apple watch while other companies are putting tablet size screens, the transmission sucks asshole, i always have to drive with ECT mode on or else u literally feel the truck slowing down. And bunch of other shit that a 3rd gen truck costing over 40k should of had by now

Honestly that's the only thing keeping me from selling it. But with Rams lifetime warranty on every single part on the truck, its very tempting

Mopar doesn’t do lifetime warranties anymore. Their in house plans run as high as 8yrs/125k miles I think but they cover pretty much all components through it.

I wonder if it was a limited time thing they did, when my cousin bought his ram in 2017, he also bought a lifetime warranty with it. He said every single nut and bolt was covered

    Like, so many.
I wonder why the other manufacturers are not making a direct competitor to the Raptor. There's clearly a market.

I know Chevy is in the works but it takes time and I think they all wanted to see if the Raptor was a fad that would fade or a legit market pool to swim in.

The only other thing that will legitimize something to properly dethrone the Raptor To me would be racing the Baja 1000 with it as Ford did with the Raptor.
