Does anyone know of a bed rack that goes over a soft Topper and still allows you to collapse it?

That's a very tall rack. I believe the only ones out there go just above the topper height. Sorry, but I don't know the brands.

I believe the ladder racks that would be taller all mount on the bed rails where the topper lives?

I'm currently having a rack built for my softopper. I knew this was going to be an issue going in, so I asked for a design that bolts to the bed rail brackets rather than being welded, so I could just unbolt the rack and remove it real quick! Depending on the weight of it, I may even be able to just unbolt 1 side and pivot it up so I can fold the topper down.
I didn't want it to stick up too high above the cab.
Another option is to just unpin the softopper collapse it under the rack and then repin it in the stowed position.
Last option would maybe be the KBvoodoo max modular rack. It won't let you fold it, but you could remove the cross rails I think, and then fold it down... a little bit of a process, but a possibility.

I was just thinking about this option this morning. However, i have 10" kbvoodoo rack and i think it's far too low for any soft/hard shells unless anyone knows of something. I'm interest in the idea

My issue with most of the racks, is it looks difficult to access the bed via softopper on the side. I know there is limited room already, but I use the sides when packing all the time.

@Teegs does the dissent rack allow you to collapse the topper? I'm considering the idea of unpinning the topper to fold it down and pin it back after if I needed to.

I've never tried honestly. I think it would work. That said, lets just ask the man himself.

Hey Ben, @Dissent86 , can you fold down the soft topper with the rack on?
