you may end up needing a new CV seal too...hard to say unless the old one looks bad. I couldn't tell that mine was bad until after I installed the new axle and it kept leaking gear oil, had to take it out and replace the seal.

I probably swapped 3 CVs on that side though before the seal needed replacing but since yours has more miles its hard to say.

No it's a brand new CV. Was replaced a year or 2 ago and I barely used 4x4

Its not a seal on the CV itself its inside the diff/axle tube depending on which side.

just replace the axle and if you notice gear oil keeps leaking out even after it's in all the way then you'll know you gotta do the seal in the near future

Or go grab a seal and replace it while you're in there, I think you can get aftermarket ones from the parts stores...like $10 or something. They are different side to side though

Easiest way I've found is to download it and upload through TW comment section

Mine does that sometimes, for me I've found it only saves an image if I try to save it before the gif has fully played itself out online...like before it has a chance to fully load from the internet. If I give it a minute then click/download it'll save the .gif format.
