Wishful thinking...plus that who alcohol allergy thing really has put a damper on my drinking these last 13 years...worst of all is my wife drinks really REALLY yummy tasty micro brews and IPAs. I have been relegated to smelling the delicious brews, but still don't turn down brewery tours!

 

You just may be better off without the alcohol...

Say, do you ever run into @NYCTaco52 over there in Virginia Beach? I would be interested to know what you think of that goofy bastard.

 

I know I have been, December will be 9 years of sobriety for me. I drank enough before I quit for 3 people over their lifetime

What a coincidence. I have an alcohol allergy too. I break out in hives if I go more than a week without any.

Ironically enough I went to college with a borderline alcoholic, who had got a red rash from cheap liquor. My group of friends sent him in to test "house" drinks and punches, basically to figure out if they should bring their own or drink on the house for cheap.

 

Nope, haven't run across him, and am not down that way often, I live between to Richmond and Williamsburg. I have met up on TW express and also did a trail ride weekend with some of the guys further up in "NOVA"...but unfortunately haven't even had the misfortune of crossing paths with @RobP62 who's up in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) region I believe.

 

Consider yourself lucky. Very lucky.

 

I had the misfortune of crossing paths with @RobP62 once, it was in a jail in New Guinea, I got detained for some illegal activity which was planted in my suit case. He said he was innocent but we all know better. I don't know how long he was there but by the looks of him, it had been a while. I was in and out in no time. I still have nightmares of running into him there.

 

I wonder which one of you two got the worst of that meeting.....??

 

Only one of us walked out of that prison that day.........and it wasn't him

I was the one that planted the illegal activity in his suitcase. Some things are considered contraband on international flights back to the US. Apparently a Banana Tree is one of them

 

I'm still there. I was smuggling bananas too.
