Is it safe to pop the A pillar cover off to run some wires behind without disturbing the air bag? TIA.GOPR3873.jpg

Yes. You remove that circle that says "SRS Airbag" and there's a bolt behind there. Remove the bolt, and the pillar cover comes off.

You can see someone do it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J13mRWO162k

fast forward to the 34 minute mark.

Yes and Disconnecting the battery first is highly recommended.

Nice truck! If you decide to place inserts in your tailgate letters, I can recommend gold. Barcelona Red isn't exactly right, but as close as you can get to Scarlet Red & Gold. SF

    Mine is a '17 AC, 4x4. Couldn't be happier.

Depends. He said he was just running wires so no need to disconnect the battery, but yes if he's doing more than that

    Working on that
Switched out the POS oem skid plate for an RCI. Needless to say it’s a big improvement.

Was quoted 6. Came in at 13.5 weeks. They upgraded the windows to frameless glass and included a hook system on the ceiling at no charge.

It was worth the wait. Really happy with it. And they nailed it with the color match

One of the most confusing things I’ve noticed about my Tacoma is the steering wheel music controls. Volume up/down are.. not up and down but right/left. Seek next/previous is not right/left but.. up/down.:confused:

I kind of want to pop it open and re-wire the controls lol

I always feel like the various design teams never actually met each other when they designed certain parts of the truck...

Front end design team: lets go with a color matched and black trimmed front bumper
Rear end design team: chrome, just chrome the whole thing

Post a write up when/if you do. I'm not a fan of the layout either. I'm finding it easier to reach over to the head unit instead of consciously thinking about which button to push to do what I want. Completely non-intuitive.

Whoops, sorry for the lack of words...

What I wrote was that I like the gold tailgate letters! Thinking about matte black for mine but can't decide on what brand to buy. So many choices!
