Doesn't have to come from Kentucky, but does have to be done in the states.

It's terrible. Every once in a while, my wife will go in the liquor store and buy something crazy for me. She brought home a bottle of this several months ago without knowing it was banana. I took one sip and it hasn't been touched since.
On a good note, she did just go out-of-state and brought me back 16 bottles of my favorite...Weller SR.
    Yes, 16 bottles! She's a keeper!

My lady friend has been wanting to try all the rum and wine finish whiskeys out there and I know I'm not going to enjoy them. I keep using the excuse, "we have enough whiskey" but still bring home new bottles. Wonder how much longer that excuse will last...

LOL! We have enough whiskey. As if.

Angels Envy is finished in Port barrels and the Rye in Rum. I've had both and like neither. The rye has zero rye bite and tastes so sweet it gives me a headache. I have a bottle of the AE bourbon gifted to me by my BIL I'll never drink. If you're in the Sac area sometime and want it let me know and it's yours.

Edit - I had to go look to make sure it's still there (it's the bottle with "10" on the cork). It's been relegated to the far back and I thought I may have pawned it off on someone before but it's still there.

I might have to take you up one that. I actually don't mind AE Bourbon as a mixer. I haven't had it neat in who knows how long - since when we got our bottle haha. The lady friend enjoys it though.
I haven't had any other AE offerings.

Big NHL fan. Originally from Western New York. But my team is a dumpster fire so I don't really want to talk about hockey :).

Edit: Also just read one of my favorite players (Dale Hawerchuk) growing up from the 90's Sabres teams passed at only 57 today.

I was 10 when Buffalo acquired Hasek from Chicago. That was around the time I started really following hockey and to say I was spoiled by some of his performances is an understatement.

In my opinion, it's Boston's cup to lose at this point and pretty much has been all season. Even with Rask bowing out, I still think the rest of the team is good enough to carry them. And let's be fair, Halak is a really solid backup and could start for several teams. Not a Boston fan by any stretch. I'm pretty neutral on Philly as far as rooting for them. They've got a shot certainly, but Boston is going to be a tough mountain to climb.
