His legs are so much black in the previous molt.. is he supposed to change colors?


If you fed him less HGH I think he wouldn't change colors

I always bring an extra CV on trails but even if you break one you can limp it out in 2wd if possible, if not then you use the spare to swap it out on the trail

But yeah if you don't have spare then you have to at least put the outer cup minus the axle shaft into the hub. Without it in there the wheel bearing will get ruined in short order.

Happened to me when I cross threaded the axle nut once and didn't know better. The tiny amount of play that it allowed was enough to ruin my wheel bearing a few hundred miles later.

 

Camera phone, can't be bothered to fix white balance and hue but yeah, the 'younger' molts are typically on the darker side for a P. Murinus. It isn't until they're about a year old or so that you start to see their color. Here's after his last molt (about two months ago) -

Just like real life, after a hit it and quit it, the female ends up destroying the male...

 

No license needed.

But you only breed the same species as they communicate a specific way towards one another.

If you're not experienced enough to intervene, you could lose a male to a female because she'll quickly grab him after they mate, and eat him.

 

You'll always have that endearing story.

I used to raise rabbits and you can have humpage with parent/child combos without screwing em up but not siblings with each other

 

Yeah it was my second time changing out an axle and first time doing it myself...was in a rush losing daylight, cross threaded the axle nut and figured 'fuck it' I'll deal with that next time I change the axle. Didn't know at the time the importance of the axle keeping the wheel bearing intact in the hub. Figured it out the hard way ~300 miles later. Luckily I made it as far as the exit I needed and pulled into the first shop I could.

 

Do they only eat live things? So you gotta keep replacing crickets? How long can they go without a meal?

There have been reports of people having a tarantula go months without eating, and I believe it.

As for dead things? It's possible, I don't know, I only feed my T's live crickets and roaches.

Spiders in general don't want or need to move around a lot. They expel a lot of energy to do so; know why they move in a 'robotic' fashion? Rather than having muscles to spread their limbs, their bodies work in a way like a hydraulic setup does. Their legs are hollow tubes and they pump haemolymph to move and spread their legs about.

 

The shop fit me in even though they were booked when I told them my story, so I was thankful... But they weren't cheap

Cost as much as our wedding photographer lol

Makes perfect sense, we could get our limbs to have a hydraulic exoskeleton for jumpy lifty things, our butt juice would create threads stronger than steel and oh so soft. I can dig it
