I think that is fine, I have my radios connected to an aux fuse block under the passenger seat.

Perfect, I'll wire it to the fuse block that is powered from the house battery. Don't wanna get stranded with a dead starting battery and cannot call for help (at least that's the logic in my head telling me not to wire it to the starting battery).

    How much?

And that requires some different straps or something right?

Don't worry about driving out on Ft. Fisher, I used to go out there in a 90s and 80s S10 Blazer, I would air down Lock it in and roll out. I just stayed in the ruts and I never got stuck. When you see jeeps and what not stuck its because they don't have experience driving in deep sugar sand first off and second a lot of them don't air down OR they try and "cross over" and don't understand how to do it. Now granted I didn't go balls to the wall in the Blazers but I drove smart. In my Tacoma or a jeep I just blast out there and blast back lol but I have also been driving the North and South End for many years. Funny story I moved to CB in '97 from Colorado. I drove a '85 4 wheel drive Subaru Wagon 5 speed with the push button 4 wheel all the way from CO, back then you didn't have to pay to play and literally when the road ended the beach driving began. Well my dumb ass felt like I had 4 wheel driveI could drive on the beach. I ht the sand and was going pretty good but as soon as I tried to "cross over" I bottomed out :rofl:and boy was I stuck. I tried to dig and I created some what of a jam too. It was embarrassing but a dude came along in a Jeep and snatched my back to the road for 20 bucks. I learned some valuable and humbling lessons that day haha. I never drove the Subaru back out there I promise you that! But I learned all the lessons, so long story short if you do get stuck someone is always willing to pull you out for 20 bucks or sometimes free if you catch the right one. The best is when you have 2-3 stuck, the one pulling gets stuck and then the one pulling the 1st puller gets stuck :rofl:good times for sure haha be safe and above all else have fun Ft. Fisher is a blast and not packed like Freeman!

Man I remember those days but I also remember when 40 stopped in Raleigh where 440 intersects and you either took 54 or 70 both 2 lane state highways at the time to the beach. Man those days it took forever to get there. Man different times wow things have changed so much.

Ummmmm yeah that was after they completed it from raleigh to wilmington. I remember that also. Now there's a stop light like every 5 feet there it seems.
