Not hating on it, it looks good! Definitely different than most. I like the red also, just happened to get a killer deal on the hi-lift extreme so that is what I have.

 

I saw the extreme, but just got the regular 48" instead. I'm assuming the extreme has a higher lifting capacity?

 

the 48” and 60” models are offered in every model of the hi-lift (I think). Basically the extreme just has an extra piece on it that does multiple things. It’s nice, but not worth the extra purchase price to me when buying new. I paid $40 for the 60” extreme brand new.

 

I wanted to mount to the front of my truck box, so 60” wouldn’t fit. Where is yours mounted?

 

On the bed rail, a 60” fits perfectly there. It won’t fit there with most toolboxes though

 

Yep. My truck box is my storage for all my survival, recovery and emergency gear, so 48” works out best for me. I just hope the aluminum box can handle the mounts/weight of the hi-lift while off roading.

 

Put some steel bar in the inside of the tool box when you mount the mounts.

 

After the alignment we are straight as an arrow. No nose dive, less body roll and grips the pavement really well.

 

Good idea. I have some big washers but will probably go pick up a plate somewhere and drill some holes in it.
