Saw articles a few hours after it started. Did you see the weather radar picked up the smoke?

Damn, I didn't see that. I'm not surprised, though, there's a lot of plastic burning.

That would suck. Those are some of the main lines into the area.

I read that one of the smaller ones already did, and that's what caused the initial fire.

Looks like they're diverting traffic from DFW. I'm off the 820/Blue Mound, and a few heavies have flown by at a low altitude.

I'm in crowley. I thought it was going to rain when I got up. Then I realized it was the smoke from the fire.

Somehow I got on their mailing list back in the early 2000’s. I got all kinds of stuff from them, but the coolest was two free tickets to the Indy car race at TMS. Funniest part is that I’ve never been a smoker, but the race was cool to see.

TMS USED to be one of the greatest open wheel tracks in the country. Then they slowed it down. Now it's whatevs.

I still try to make it to every Indycar race at TMS even though it's always super hot by the first week of June. They keep messing with the aero rules so it breaks up the dangerous pack racing, but that's exactly what made the ovals exciting. I'm looking forward to the Indy 500 this weekend. I took a break from the census work just so I can watch.

It's weird not having Monaco and Indy on the same weekend.

It should be interesting. I’m an Alonso fan, so I’m interested to see how it turns out for him.

I know! I would start early watching Monaco, then Indy and fall asleep during the NASCAR 600.
