One must have a FB account to see. Is it available elsewhere?

thanks for letting me know, I found a direct YouTube link:

    https://youtu.be/1zJ9FnQXmJI

and the original description explaining the technique used to capture the images used to splice this together.

“The Earth rotates on its Axis and revolves around the Sun but we just can't feel it at all. But an astrophotographer, Aryeh Nuremberg clicked exceptionally beautiful video, wherein you can feel the rotation of the Earth.

He had made use of an Equatorial tracking mount, aligned it with North Star. It kept clicking photos every 12 seconds for 3 hours.

The Camera was totally focused on the same portion of the Milky Way, hence it appears stationary. You can actually feel the beautiful movement of the Earth.”

    Very cool shot

I have a Meade reflector that came with a auto-track mount. If you input the wrong star co-ord,,it will slew all the way around and point at the ground, which is hilarious.

You could see that star it tracked to,, if the world was made of clear glass.

No politics on here man, I wasn't going there. I was referencing studies like this article talks about. Take it easy. I'm not even American so why would I care about your politics? I don't even have CNN on my cable package lol.

I love how out of the outfield that was lol. Literally I give zero fucks about US politics because of the Toxic people that tend to point towards "the other side" for all their problems without even listening to their side. That goes for both sides. It was a comment based around study, that's all.

I saw a few interesting stories online around the whole Boeing/Contract story. Seems like Boeing was talking to the now ex-administrator during the blackout period and then adjusted their bid right after talking to him? I wonder why, seems like a strange thing to do.

At least SpaceX and the others seem to be on the up and up.

There have been a lot of "contract irregularities" across much of the government lately. That's all I'll say on the matter less this devolve into politics (again).

I don't think this was really political. The Chief of Human Spaceflight, Loverro, was the person who broke the rules and he was turfed because of it. It sounds like maybe he was just dirty. Boeing seems to be stumbling around in the new commercial space race.

As I understand it, the careerists were hung up on SLS based solutions or something, hence the Boeing help. It'd be pretty cool to see at least two different landers, one of them being the starship lunar edition.
