    Nice ride.

But I'm more impressed with your yard.

Acronyms suck. They are completely context based and the same TLA can mean multiple things, or to the uninitiated on a particular topic, nothing at all.

Not yet, no rubbing going about my daily life right now. Maybe if I start actually using it...

Do you guys think if the differential drop is installed it would eliminate the need to change out the needle bearing with the ECGS?

Personal opinion is no. Needle bearing is a design flaw that is exaggerated when lifting. Diff drop when lifting alone won’t save the needle bearing from failing.
Plus, more than half of this community will tell you diff drops don’t help on this gen Tacoma. Hope this helps.

so the needle bearing doesn't have added stress because of the angles of the cv axles even with a 2 inch lift? I had a DB lift on my '12 and with everything being parallel like stock I had zero issues anywhere after 72k miles

Let’s put it this way. Some people stock have issues with the needle bearing. Most have issues with the needle bearing when lifting regardless of cv angles and a select few have zero issues when lifting or stock for that matter. It’s luck of the draw and roll of the dice on how your particular truck will respond. I hope this somewhat explains it lol

That’s what I did when I had everything tore apart. It was relatively straightforward install. Only pain in the ass was getting the CV shaft in and out of the diff.

Pulled the trigger last night and ordered the Eibach stage 1 kit, Wheelers 1.5" AAL, 1/4" lean spacer for my truck that's not even here yet. I'm hoping I don't regret my decision to go with a 265/70-17 tire. I went with Falken Wildpeaks on TRD 4Runner rims. I was always a KO2 guy but thought I'd give the Falken's a try after speaking with some friends who swear by them.

Loving the pics of you guys running 285's but this truck will be a daily driver for the most part. My truck will be here in a week or so, I'll post up some before and after pics. This thread has been a great source of info to help make my decision.

Are you staying with your stock wheels? I’m assuming you are getting a sport? I just ordered the same set up for my OR. I’ve had it a couple month and said I wasn’t going to lift it when I bought it. Because I lift every truck and regret the mpg almost instantly. But , the stock tires weren’t doing it so I got the 265 falkens. And I’ve been having the same thoughts of hoping the 265 don’t look too small. I guess we will find out together.
