Good work on getting a real Dr. You can do once a week and be fine; however, for best results and stable levels do twice a week. I do Sunday and Wednesday and that works great for me. What were your estradiol levels at or did they test that?

Also the prostate rub is the best, bro. Idk what you're talking about. Feels good man.

Edit: also if the Dr didn't mention it, keep an eye on your hemoglobin and hematocrit while on trt. You'll likely have to start donating if they start to rise

Thanks @Travish325 will ask about Estradiol/Hemoglobin and Hematocrit on next appt. Would like to have a printout if possible for that draw and the next.

Told me it was smooth and all good. Didn't want to experience that though tbh I enjoyed being a virgin :(

Nothing wrong with a little bum fingering, bro. You learn to like it eventually ;)

Although I've never had a real doctor's finger in my bum....

If you mean 900ng/dL... Thats high. High range of normal for a young kid let alone 40+. Most men aren’t that high.

Understand TRT is not risk free. You will be at increased risks for heart attack, stroke, DVT, and the like. So make sure you are on adequate blood donation schedules or your physician will basically routinely “blood let” you if you are unable to donate. Like @Travish325 said you need those routine labs pulled.

Also before starting TRT make sure you have that conversation with your spouse about kids. The longer you are on TRT the less likely that will be a possibility.

Docs are doing a better job warning people of risks but you gotta know so you can make the best choice for you.

I hated the shots. Gel was better but I’m not on anything now.

I've always done quads. Was terrified at first but once I got use to it and got the correct needle size I don't even feel it anymore.

Yeah quads aren't bad at all. On a TRT dose sub-q may let you use even less (or use the same and have it go farther).

I have only done HCG subq. I really only have fat on my belly and I'm always afraid if I have an oil bubble there that I'm gonna pop it wearing my lifting belt lol

Only study I've seen on it said that it does in fact work as well as IM. A lot of people believe subq allows the test to be absorbed slower thus lasting longer. I don't really buy it though. The ester is what determines the half life and how the test is released, not where it's injected.

Then again, I'm not a scientist or a Dr so I'm probably wrong.

I haven’t seen anything other than anecdotal data from Drs (Dr Crissler being the foremost proponent) who manage F2M transitions or TRT for men. I think an accurate study design would be a challenge given the variances between each individual response to TRT and the doses needed to obtain optimal levels. The studies I have seen published all relate to efficacy which was noted by Trav.
