Ok so... Looks like I should buy an ATV that has a clean title, get it notarized like anything else, then do the primarily off road registration thing where I still "certify" it meets on road requirements and get the mc plate (not the RV plate) and I can basically ride it on any service road or OHV trails worry free.

Yep, that’s what I have done for my bike. It makes registration a couple extra bucks but it’s still pretty dang cheap

The price isn't really a concern cuz as you said it's cheap. I just don't understand what makes it meet highway requirements. Not sure a banshee with expansion chambers is exactly meets EPA requirements ;) wiring a horn is easy enough though.

Packed up and camped on Schultz Pass Rd for the weekend. Planned to ride MTB and gravel but I crashed the gravel bike Saturday doing the loop around Mt Humphreys so I didnt ride today. Was still a fun weekend, wish I wasnt nursing gravel/road rash now though.

I rode with two other guys and camped by myself. Everyone bailed on camping, fine with me, silence and cool air for two nights in a row.

Came home to presents from brown santa. New shoes from Summit Offroad that came out last week. Shipped to me in 2 days!

These are supposed to be "matte gunmetal" but they look very close to Toyota Silver Sky Metallic which Im quite happy about. Sorry for the insta text.

Anyone have one of these in the Tucson area I could use or buy? My CV might be getting replaced too VERY soon, so will already have it exposed for the most part.

    Thanks!!

Great deal Bill! Anyone coming south-easterly?

I’d be heading back your way in about two weeks to return it unless another TW Express runs earlier.

Any advise on local head shops? These guys look reputable. Firestone told me they saw coolant leaking into cylinder #3 causing my missfire. They didnt see a crack in the cylinder but i still need to get it checked during the HG job. Thanks in advance

Got busy last night. Going in for an alignment this morning. Gotta trim the u-bolts and install the rear bumps and then get the new wheels tires mounted up later today. Holy shit do these extended length Kings and uniball Camburg arms have some droop!

Shoot for 4-4.5* of castor if they can get it.

I will request as much caster as they can get out of it. Unfortunately Im going to have to get it aligned again. I could not get the adjusters to budge so its only sitting at ~1-1.5" of lift in front. I need to be able to drive it before Ill have a chance to raise the front end so this is really just to take some toe out of the fronts so I dont destroy my tires. It lifted so little my steering wheel is still perfectly centered. Man the ride is INCREDIBLE though!

There’s a on strut style spring compressor available. Not cheap for a good one. Links are in some of the the kings threads.
That or I saw it in the ADS thread.

Quite a bit of weight in back. Stock wheels and tires are hiding in there and the rear is still sitting pretty high. I definitely need to get it into a shop that can raise the front for me.

Not a huge fan of how much poke there is with a 9" wheel thats -25. If I hadnt done all the trimming, fender massaging and cab mount relocation these things would not fit even with just 285s.
