Have had these out for a few months and wanted to share. 3/16" (.188') engine block flanges and frame perch plates, boxed welded construction. Uses our tried and true and proven polyurethane bushing. Kits in stock, send me a message or order or visit @solid_offroad on Instagram for pics and info:thumbsup:

Having not looked at the stock mounts, what is the advantage of these? What does the replacement procedure entail?

Is anyone having issues with the stock motor mounts? I’d also like to know the benefits of these besides more vibration.

Hey guys thanks for the interest. Also I am LOL'g at the 3.5 jokes :D

The screenshots pretty much summed it up, sorry for the info being tough to read, there is only soo much room you can type on Instagram! But I wanted to be able to inform everyone of the great benefits of ditching the terrible designed OEM weak factory motor mounts for something much stronger and pretty much a lifetime part. These questions get brought up everyday and the concern or the rumor of "vibration" is also brought up a lot. There are paragraphs of false and inaccurate information all over the internet especially on forums about polyurethane bushings and their use alone and in conjunction with other factory bushings on your vehicle. Most people base their information off what they think would occur or what a friend experienced with a different situation and apply it across the board. Aftermarket shocks, suspension components, larger aggressive off road tires, exhaust systems, headers and any multitude of bolt on accessories will cause more noise and vibration than our motor mounts. I have been making these mounts and selling them for almost 15 years, and I have never had any complaints about added vibration. As with any stronger more durable aftermarket part especially for an off road truck the very small negatives are hugely outweighed by the positives. The same is true for an upgraded motor mount.

More power to the tires is always good too right? Most customers notice a definite increase in acceleration and grip and the fact that your drivetrain isn't bouncing around causing the frame to crack and the coil buckets to tweak inwards is a plus too.

As far as replacement, all you need is a floor jack to slightly lift and support the motor, and basic hand tools to remove the old mounts and reinstall the new mounts. Everything is 100% bolt on. If you can do brakes, you can do these. I send the parts with an instruction sheet as well and of course, a nice sticker!

If anyone is interested, definitely send me a inbox message or visit @solid_offroad on Instagram! I am building a set of 3.5 mounts today and will post up later:thumbsup:

i emailed you after visiting your iG page. i haven't seen a reply yet. I'm wondering about 2 things. first, how involved is the completed install?

and I'm also interested if you can report any downstream stress effects affecting the motor attachment points in your history doing these. not just for the 3.5.

    thank you.

I second this... post up the install instructions to this thread. You can save a PDF as an attachment. That way we all don't need to PM you individually.

Here is the instruction sheet I provide with the kits. Since the removal and re-install is self explanatory and simple I don't go into too much detail but this will give everyone an idea of what is involved and also some helpful tips.

I actually think I replied to you a little while ago, check email and let me know!

As much as it sounds like a sales pitch, I have not had any down stream negative effects of upgrading the motor mounts in the 17 years I have been building these. It's nothing but all positives and they do not affect other components of the vehicle in anyway negatively.

The only negative factor I can think of would be shortened rear tire tread life from all the burnouts you may do from the added power to the ground:thumbsup:

Do you have any actual data to support this? Not trying to be a dick but a company advertising ass dyno gains is a bigger turn off for me than a well-hung woman.

Agreed. You're getting into "dangerous" areas, when you start talking about power gains from a bolt on part. Especially one that has nothing to do with emissions or ignition.

My 2 cents... I'd ditch the marketing concerning power gains, unless you can accurately substantiate them. I'm still intrigued and could see giving these a spin. I'm still hesitant though, as I don't even know where the factory motor mounts are or how big of a PITA they are to access.
