Does this mean my intel stock will be green?

To me Intel would be an awesome hold for 20+ years. You get about 3% annual dividends, and probably a smoothed out 5% annual price appreciation. I wouldn’t expect anything exciting out of that company. Definitely a steady winner though.

Looking for some red futures for 2 days, sorry traders. I’m deploying some cash Friday so a correction would be nice

 

So a coworker just graduated with a finance degree, so I asked for his top pick. His answer below ...he went on and on about cash flow, year over year numbers going up, profit margins. Anyway ran MO by him too and after briefly looking at it he said it's a dying ship. Think Titanic fwiw.

I don’t know what CDNS is, but the chart looks parabolic. I’ll add to MO and sleep well at night.

 

Diversity is good .... I like the idea of a tobacco with divs too but wouldn't mind a today's apple. Comp software & hardware isn't going anywhere but up.

It's nothing insider trading because I'm too low on the totem pole to know enough to get me into trouble, but if you're looking for a good upside stock my company ain't doing too bad. We've gotten a new CEO who was previously CFO at Logitech and he's built himself an exec team that Wall Street likes. We're on to some pretty good things and Covid has helped our enrollments, revenue etc. Not to mention we're sitting on a lot of cash with minimal debt. I'm a Product Manager on the ID Theft side of the house. Trust me when I say we're busy. Check out our past year, 3 months and last month since our 1st fiscal quarter of 2021... Not too volitile. Kinda steady. Still affordable. Ask me anything about it. NLOK

Yeah. I totally forgot about our dividends. Not a bad long-term deal, if even just for the dividend drip.

I've been with LifeLock for over 5 years now. Seen a lot of change. We were acquired by SYMC then broke off the enterprise part and Symantec went to Broadcom. The left over was the consumer business so we combined the company of Norton and LifeLock. I know you've seen the commercials or even the late night infomercials right after the half hour snuggy special.

 

Titanic went down fast and was considered the hottest thing out there. MO is the old ship that keeps trucking along. Even when it’s sailing days are over, it gets parked next to a pier somewhere and makes money as a museum. And keeps paying me dividends
I like finding the next great stock, but I’m not turning my back on the proven ones in the process. It’s best to have a mix

Agree. ... jr. was strictly looking at the numbers and every year the tobacco users are dwindling down. My point was there is always new suckers replacing 'em. Jr. says not enough and industry could be gone in 20 years

intrigued. They’re similar to dkng in that they’re an early riser in their industry or subset of the industry maybe for this one. Definitely won’t be buying the ipo but we’ll probably see their competitors come into the market too, and make their own little subset of the entertainment/accommodations industry.

 

That dividend looks great at current prices! Their share price has been on a decline for a while now though. I’m afraid that would eat into the overall yield over a period of time. Unless you think they have found a steady footing?

 

It seems like I always read that they're about to turn around, but like you said, the share price has been flat. I am more than happy with 8% dividends and a flat share price. I'd put all my money into something if it had that guarantee.
