Yeah...the slips weren’t my first choice, but I have to remember this is just a truck, not my show car. They will still get finished off backpurged/tig welded. It’s basically 3 parts; Downpipes, Midpipe(1 piece to the back of the cab), and the rear muffler/bypass contraption. I reused some stock hangars, as well as have some new ones to add. I’m hoping the flex couplers in mats downpipe should give it enough room For movement.

Keeping one set of slip joints, since staying with them, will be good for having a removable section. Pretty sure you already thought about that though. Such as the section of y-pipe to muffler flange.

 

I'll have an update this weekend on catted downpipe ETA, kit shipping eta, etc

debadged my '03 M5, tho the rear spoiler Dinan exhaust tone and squared tire set up were still a dead givaway

I've seen a couple debadged M5s around. Way better, IMHO.


Of course, I have seen many M-badged 525is and 325is. There's two sides to this coin.

I'm in the middle of preparing more.
There is a lot of prep work on our side to make the install super easy.
It all comes pre assembled and you drop it into place, tighten the 4 x 12 mm nuts for the manifold, and done.
