LBL is sorta like Rush, but not. Tons less mud, unless you look for it. LBL also isn't an "offroad park" but forest service roads, Turkey Bay inside the LBL area, is.

I don't remember Spaas, but I've been there.

Turkey Bay - that's it. I went there for an afternoon and just didn't have much fun. I have much more fun clawing my way through the forest on my own lol.

There are bits of the DBBB that are a bit sketch.
But the biggest challenge to date for me was Horse Lick Creek rd in Livingston. That was some technical shit

We shouldn't have that much traffic and congestion, since I moved dates from Labor Day weekend. There will be other people however, full size vehicles, buggies, and SxS weirdos. Normally don't see too many other people, most trails have more than enough room to go around each other.

That was my experience at turkey bay as well... unlike in the backwoods, these parks have plenty of passing room.

I mostly know what to expect

I would say Turkey Bay is pretty similar to Rush. I'd rather go to Turkey Bay than Rush FWIW.

I've never been to TB myself. But I've seen pics and videos, and I will make a trip there for sure!

So I got a "maybe for a little bit" not sure she understands it's a 5 hour round trip drive... So I'm cautiously optimistic I'll be there for 1 night.

I think so. Wife said "probably one night"
So I think the best plan is to get there early Saturday, day drink, add some scratches to the truck, and pass out in the muddy truck bed because I forgot to set up a tent.

Oh, and probably drop my DSLR in a mud hole and lose it permanently.

This is what a newborn makes you do...

Does that mean knock off my mirror? Or switch from DSLR to a mirrorless camera? Lol
