It's my "Monday" and I just paid Sept's bills

 

Oof. Have fun with that lol.

 

Bills just suck On a good note, I've paid a bit extra every month on the truck and should knock off a year of payments

 

That's good. My rent and all that will come out next weekend lol

 

I always see those questions on FB about.....what would you take if you could only pick one...….I'm like "No Bills!!!!" although I've never actually answered those stupid things

Yeah, no bills would be the bee's knees. I'm working on selling all my patches so I can finish paying this CC off and get my savings somewhere decent so that'll be nice.

 

I'm glad I never got into those patches. Those things are like drugs

 

Yeah, bad time to try and get rid of em all too. Everyone is poor because of covid.

 

I looked over that thread before and some of those prices are insane. Cool as patches, but insane.

 

Yeah, I have a lot for sale on Facebook right now. Should make for a pretty penny.
Between not buying patches and not drinking, I'll be rolling in dough in no time.

 

Do you lose any money on the patches? Say you paid $20, do you sell it for $15, $20, or $25?

 

Depends on the patch. Most gain value from their original price but it fluctuates.
I think overall, I'm taking a loss because I bought a lot from the secondary market but I'm not super worried about it.

 

Gotcha. It always amazes me what the market does with stuff like that.

 

Yeah, there's some that'll sell for at least 3-4x original drop price and then there's a few that I'm basically giving away that I can't get rid of lol.
I'd much rather build up my savings at this point. Put my money somewhere more responsible lol

 

Not a bad plan. Did you put them on your headliner or just display them in your house?

 

Used to keep em on the headliner when I collected mostly Toyota themed patches. Once the headliner got full, I moved everything to a wall in the apartment.
Now that I'm selling off, I have a few Toyota/TW themed ones that I know won't sell well on the headliner but that's it.
Everything else is either in a box or on the wall waiting to get sold.

Did you have full sets? That would be my problem. If I started a set, I'd want them all

 

I had a few full sets that I sold off at the beginning. I have one mostly full set that I'm breaking up and selling off right now.
That's part of what kept me going on it was staying complete with sets and all that.
