Uscar socket

Anyone have a 3rd gen sr5 with no towing package installed just basic model, and manually purchase a UScar socket just plug in and works? I recently installed curt system but I found there 2 separate connectors next behind your license plate, was wondering if just buying oem just to plug in works? Cause curt look like there so much work to do sorry my English is bad

 

Same as my first Tundra, I bought the plug and play from the dealer.

 

When it comes to wiring factory plug & play is always going to be the best makes it easy. as for oem tow bars or aftermarket they will bolt up the same sometimes Depending on makes & models the tow plug is on the tow bar but on there Tacoma’s the plug is in the bumpers them selfs
