(sorry if this shows up more than once :)) Love this design— just curious, do you know how close this gets you to the payload max?

Sent in my first payment. Not nearly as much fun as installing cool mods.

Correct, that is not a slider by any means. Just a nice flat running board to step on like the one I got from the dealer.

I came home last night to find this:

    DC88C479-7450-4DA1-BB11-549DF9D7BEB8.jpg

I guess today’s project is to separate the clear so I can paint the gunmetal bezel cement. It seems to be glued as well as tabbed. I’ll post more as I get into it, but would love recommendations from those who have done this.

It looks like the bezel itself just has posts that were melted on the back:

I got mine the other day and just got my paint yesterday. I was going to do the same but from what I've seen, busted lenses with no success of taking apart and putting back together.

When you had the bin installed normally. Can it be moved anywhere along the rail system. I mean, if I don't want it near the front of the cab, can it be used near the tailgate?

I change between the original Tacoma Tonneau and my diamondback. with the original Tonneau, the front near the cab does not open up to be able to use the bin.

    thanks,

That's pretty slick. Could you post a picture of the camera's perspective? I'm about to mount my front camera and would rather not do it twice.

Quick and easy MESO Ultimate Turn Signals. Have to wrench real quickly on the truck in this Southern Cali heat. Lol.

Nothing major, tinted front windows and installed full blackout kit; plus led bed lights for now.

I did the unforgivable act of modern Tacoma modifications. I bolted on shiny wheels.

For $30, I felt it was worth a shot. I worked very slowly with a heat gun and razor blade. I got the entire bottom edge separated and started working up the side when this happened:

    95F73900-9163-4D3E-9AEC-7B118AAF328B.jpg

Add one more to the failed list. :/

I think I would have done better if I baked the whole assembly.
