Those army green shackles you got are killer! Did you pint them yourself of found them that color?

Got mine about 2 weeks ago from Amazon.ca. Chose to go with Gear America shackles, they have a locking system to deter thieves...

Intermittent wiper switch, center console tray, glove box organizer shelf, WeatherTech front mats and mud flaps, 3D MaxSpider behind-the-front-seats mat, bed lights, MESO climate control rings, XPEL tailgate protection, Desertdoesit.com seat jackers, RAV4 radio knobs, glove box letters.
I installed the front bed rail and caps today...simple install. Got extra bed cleats on ebay.

Just got the cargo bed light kit and switch. That's next.

    Maybe WoolWax underneath before winter.

    My wife thinks I'm nuts.

Just a few easy mods for now. Still getting a feel for the truck with only 500 miles on it.

Damn TacomaWorld! (Just kidding!) Seems endless what you can do to these trucks!

I dropped the hinge pins to the bottom hole the second day that I had it. From there it has been great. Even with the warmer weather.

Once I was happy, I made marks with a paint pen for the rails and fittings. Super fast to reinstall in the same spot.

Not a bad idea. I wanna raise mine. Haha. I removed t nuts from the rails while cleaning the bed out and put the topper on without realizing i should've put them back in, so I'll end up taking it off and making it perfect. First day joy got ahold of me and it had to go on.

It is joyous. Exactly what I thought from the beginning, but I got a rollup tonneau to tide me over. It was good but annoying because so much was not accessible. I was hoping for a GFC, but those went nuts.

In the end, esp after camping out of the ST, I knew it is the answer for me.

Came in handy today when I needed to carry a large load. It was off and back on in moments. The company owner is impressed with it. :D

Also, check out the Plano 108qt trunks. Great, cheap, and hidden (all black) gear storage inside.

I've got one of those, several years ago, unfortunately it's red... need to find a black one that's less obvious, was on sale when I got it for cheap.

I liked the olive ones, esp when they were on sale at HomeDepot, but I held off for the black one. Previously I had a black rolling chest in there that was too big. I painted the yellow wheels and closures.

You could hit yours with alcohol and black paint? They have some cheap cans at Lows. $1.00. Works great.
