Hi looking for some input cc stopped working will not turn on. However does turn on and off with steering wheel turned all the way to the left. I suspect the spiral cable wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms and what was fix. No error codes.

Horn working? I suspect the clock spring may need replacing. Not a difficult job or an expensive one.

Now after jerking the wheel all the way to the left repeatedly it is now working wonder for how long? Can get it to turn on and sometimes set a speed.

    I second his definitely,

Just had this happen on mine. Everything BUT the cruise worked. Spiral cable replacement was the ticket.

its 100% possible for just one wire to get broken. Search for spiral cable threads, they have pics where its only one or two wires.

now on to the bigger question.... OEM or cheap Amazon..

    Reserected from the dead.
Most likely is the clock spring assembly.

Make sure you do not have an intermittent voltage regulator in the alternator. Low output voltage will prevent the cruise from working proper.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
My clockspring was replaced under warranty after the ABS light came on. It's a few years later, now, and the cruise quits the same way... can get it to work during a turn... clockspring.

Be sure to order the proper one. There are a few options which have to do with having stereo controls, cruise, or not.

Thanks all! The cruise started working, at least for now, after repeated working of steering wheel all the way to right and left multiple times. It’s Been stable for two days (agree it’s that cable) will await symptoms to come back and update.
