Long story short, when using the add-a-fuse to add my grille lights, I hard a hard time getting the fuse box cover to click into place again. Even without the extra wire the cover seemed to be hard to close fully, never really felt super locked into place. Anyways, I was with a friend while doing the install and he had the brilliant idea of hitting the cover with a small mallet and resulted in breaking one of the clips/hinges that the top cover goes into.

The other two are secure and it definitely takes some force to get this side to come off still, but now I'm a bit worried it might pop off while wheeling around, etc

I still have the broken piece and can glue it on I suppose but don't know how well that will hold. Also getting the entire bottom part replaced seems like it would be $$$$. Can just hack together a solution but wondering what my best option is.

Also yes that friend will never be near my truck again :D

A small mallet and a piece of plastic never turns out well!

So I too broke a tab on my fuse box installing the add-a-fuse. Mine is the springy latch on the cover. Does anybody know what type of plastic the box is so I can get the proper glue? Those little tabs are quite flimsy for a tough taco :)
