    Not sure exactly how many miles but probably around 60k miles since I did the regear. As far as how’s it holding up, it seems to be holding up great. Never had an issue with the locker or gears for that matter. I pretty much turn the locker on anytime I hit dirt for high speed stuff as it makes the truck much more predictable, and then I’ll turn it off and on as needed when rock crawling.

    I don't think it is all the headers or actually very little that is the headers that makes it this loud. It is a combination of headers, y-pipe, busted up muffler and the tail pipe dumping after the axle. Not to mention the rpm's I am turning, because if I can keep the rpm's below 2300 it is not bad at all. Like good enough I wouldn't even be looking for a new approach. I use the rpm's and low gearing to my advantage while towing though. I love passing a diesel pulling a camping going up hill.

    Hey everybody! Its been awhile! Heard back from Gerald at HPS. He said they finally got the sample in and ready to test fit. Currently, setting up a time to get it fitted. WOOT WOOT!!! Finally moving along!

    I just received my 4.30 gears from ecgs. I’m on 285’s and mine is a manual. I want the feel of stock due to highway driving.

    You need either two decent size mufflers or a keg muffler to compensate for eliminating 4 cats pertaining to headers and catless ypipe. Compensation is through out all rpms

    Yep, that is what I am thinking. And I just really don't want to spend $800 on something that is really the same as I have, just newer. I got ahold of a buddy that just got a long travel supercharged Tacoma about a month ago cause I remembered it was straight piped when he bought it and had them put a muffler on it. Come to find out they did the same exact thing to his truck but for $400 because he just went with a axle dump. And he says his is loud as hell on the freeway too. So I am going to just try to find a keg muffler or a get a couple large turbo mufflers and start welding stuff together. I have access to a welder and lots of pipe from factory tundra's. I can make something work. Maybe two factory tundra mufflers with some weird linking of the two. Do mufflers have a dedicated flow direction. I could go single in and dual out and then weld one backwards so the duals match up and it is back to single and then run a tailpipe. Maybe?

    Handled those whoops like a champ. Super smooth on the jump. Isn't it rewarding to get to use your truck they way you intended, after all of the efforts involved?!

    Thanks. Yeah we got it working probably about as good as it can with the setup I have without swapping out to bigger shocks which I’m always keeping an eye out for. It works great, comfortable, and reliable which is the best because I can just hop in anytime and take it out for some fun.

    That video is being posted every where it seems. So the story that I keep seeing that the truck is owned by a paraplegic (hence the wheelchair in the bed) and it has hand controls. Well the owner was in the passenger seat and a friend of his was trying to drive with the hand controls. He failed. But they both are super embarrassed. Some of the people that claim to know the owner are demanding that the videos be taken down because the owner is so embarrassed and he is such a great guy. They are afraid that he will sell the truck and not get to use the truck he has been building for so long. Personally, if you are a paraplegic and build a truck like that your a bad ass. Tell everyone to *uck off and mob that beauty. I love to see the disabled become one with themselves and become abled!
