    It is either a eastern gray treefrog or a Cope's gray treefrog. They look exactly alike but are genetically distinct, in some locations can be distinguished by range but mostly overlap in Ohio, and is best distinguished by their different calls.

    Been electrofishing all week. Fucking nuts. Covid precautions, 100 plus heat, and the poor air quality with all the fires. I come home, shower, and pass out. We finished today finally. It was a mission critical project for a damn retrofit, endangerd fish, permits, blah blah, so we just had to adapt and push through this apocalypse in CA right now.

    Found out today one of the Preserves I manage is fucking on fire. It's the apocalypse. All my friends in the Santa Cruz Mountains have been evacuated.

    11,000 lighting strikes and 375 fires.
