This taco just popped up and it hits all my marks, but I wish it didn't have this winch in the front bumper. Does anyone know if this type of bumper can be easily removed and replaced with an OEM? Love the stock look.

    Thanks in advance

The only two ways to remove a wench are either murder or divorce. But as to the bumper if it had one to begin with you can put one back on. Just depends on how much money and work would be involved.

Wenches are easily removed with repeated copious amounts of money.

Do you know if these bumpers are just bolted on, or if they had to cut anything to install it?

I'm never gonna use it, so I don't really see any point in having it. I'd rather swap it for an OEM bumper and resell it to someone who would get some use out of it.

Yeah looks like it was cut so not easily reverted back. Why not keep the winch? Pretty helpful in a lot of situations. That said local board and say I’ll trade bumpers would get some bites fast as setup looks good from what I can see.

Those bumpers are chopped so that they have that metal portion look like its part of the body work. You'll have to not only remove the bumper and wiring but look for a bumper and possibly get it painted. If this truck ticks all the boxes and you really want THIS truck I'd keep it. Later you may regret getting rid of it. Its a nice upgrade.

That's a nice looking stealthy bumper winch combo! And you have there a really great winch as well. Good luck !!

And you'll never when when you, or someone else you will come across that may need a good winch!! I used mine a few days ago helping a 4Runner that rolled on a trail high up in the Eastern Sierra Nevada's , so you never know when that need might come...

Looks like a u.s off-road one pretty simple install. You will need the aluminum crash bar behind bumper and another o.e.m bumper since you have to cut out the bottom portion for the install. Just put one on last weekend . Instructions are on his website if you need some insight on it just reverse them

Anthonyeh is right its a us off road bumper. Great bumper if you really didn’t want it you could always trade some one or sell it . Personally it looks great on there and you never know when you might need a winch. Pulling out a tree stump or whatever but its a nice upgrade B084B996-E8D2-4B04-991C-169340FD1D33.jpg

IMO looks great and Nice to have steel upfront instead of a thin aluminum bar and plastic aswell . On the other hand if it affects front collision sensors/ airbags I’m not 100% sure

Like others have said, I'd keep it, looks like synth line so it's lighter. You have a $100 Prolink on the end, too. May want to pull it in tight against the fairlead.

Thanks for all the input. I slept on it and decided I would keep it, however, someone beat me to the deposit. It wasn't even listed 24 hours ago. These trucks go so quickly.. Sucks. The search continues...

    That's a bummer

    A truck without a winch = useless
