Man that Trail Edition grill is busted! Glad they went back to taillights that don't invoke the Altezza trend of the early 2000s. Need to see Lunar Rock in person, not impressed by pictures... Army Green and Cement still the best IMO.

This the is first I've heard that all SR5 and up V6 models will be coming with the dual zone climate controls as standard.

I'd try Bellingham Toyota. I got the same features plus mud guards for a lot less than that. MSRP was around yours and I was able to get them to take off around 3K plus the rebate. Our tax rate is a lot less up here too. Ask for Travis.

I wonder if that is because they moved the climate control system into the "base" models of the TRDs. Hopefully that means the Premium package is cheaper by that much since that isn't an upgrade anymore like it used to be.

Will be interesting to see how it changes when the 2021 build tools arrive. Right now on the 2020s, the Premium package costs ~$4300 on AT and ~$3600 on MT.

Any tips for a nationwide inventory search? I'm on the east coast as well, but unfortunately haven't found an efficient way of doing a nationwide inventory search.

Long time follower of this forum that has owned 2 3rd gen Tacoma's. I was amazed at some of these prices people are paying, am I missing something or have I been away for that long. 45k for a loaded Tacoma is crazy. I liked both Tacoma’s I had but could not stand the transmission and how my truck shared the same engine as our minivan. Anyways, sorry to complain but I was just shocked at these prices.

I remember said guy, think me and him had it out, he kept swearing you could get one for more than 15% off MSRP easily w/out rebate after this, was like listen dude, have had 12 of these, 9 of them new, you are not getting above 15% off w/out rebate.

Yes a fully loaded TRD is pushing close to $46k MSRP, more options/packages than in 17 and price increase on some packages. Prior to COVID you could still get 10-15% off MSRP with some work.

Guy in my clinical group plays stocks all day (nursing is gonna be his side gig), he keeps swearing all the warning signs of inflation are in play. Will be interesting how this plays out.

The stock market is so far removed from reality. Q3/Q4 will be in a world of hurt without that stimulus money.

Ya I set up my TSP and robo advisors and let it ride, so not really watching, figuring the global economy and civilization will probably be doneso by the time I retire, or Corona 2.0 will have got us all.

Yea prices have definitely gone up, the scary part right now is the used values of Tacoma’s. Dealers are asking more for used than some new Tacoma’s. I’m
Not sure how long this will last, I can’t imagine the inventory will stay low for long. Once they catch up in production I’m guessing the values will go back to normal.
