Looking into upgrading to an HID headlight housing for my 2012 sr5 dclb. Been looking at a couple of different styles and I'm digging the Tacoma beast housing. Heard their dependability may not be the best?? Anyone that can chime in on this??

Would love to hear any other companies that make the HID with led DRL.

    Thanks! -Kyle

There are no HID housings for a 2nd Gen. TacomaBeast sells halogen housings, and they are well known to be horrible in performance and low quality that often leak, fog, and have poor quality UV coating so they will haze over long before OEM. Your OEM housings is the highest performance and highest quality housing available for 2nd Gen. everything you need for upgrading output is here:

Option 2? There is a lot of info in the thread. High power bulbs and the wiring harness is all that is needed for the output performance upgrade. The TRD headlight assemblies are just cosmetic.

Different steps. No worries! :) Step 3 is not required for the output gain.
