If anyone has a 265/75/16 AT or MT laying around, I'm looking for a spare. Falken AT3W would be top choice.

I have a Cooper AT3 (Old style but brand new) on steel spare in 265/75/16. I plan to get rid of it but have to figure out how to fit my 255/80/R17 spare under the truck. Let me know if interested. Could motivate me to go beat and drill shit to make room for my full size spare.

You should be able to fit it in the stock location if you cut the tabs off the spare holder like I did. Or use a BFH to bend them up. I had a 295/75r16 which is just slightly bigger than yours in the stock spot. It’s an easy trim with a grinder.

Did you relocate the hoist to move the spare back also?

Nope. It just fit. I did have the exhaust chopped. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Good to know. I have a plan, just waiting for it to not be 100 f’in degrees when I do it.

Thinking about hitting up Echo Lake off Mirror lake hwy this weekend if everything works out! I hear its a 'decent' 4x4 trail so that should be fun...now if I can only manage to catch some fish in the morning while I'm there it'll be a solid trip.

I was just up there a few weeks ago. Good little spot and the bumps keep most of the riffraff away.

The little store right before the first pay station sells delicious smoked fish, and also sells passes, which you can pay for with a CC versus cash only at the pay station.

I've always wanted to stop at that store but always been in a rush to find a camping spot hah. I have my year pass, so I'm set with that! The AF Canyon pass also covers the Mirror Lake-Uintah Mountain range, which is rad.

Def stop at that store on the way out then. Got a nice salmon tail, goes really well with triscuits and chive and onion cream cheese. Makes the Seattlite in me quite happy.

Might have to! Did you find any good spots to camp when you went up to Echo Lake?

It's all pretty good up there, just have to pick one that isn't taken.

Double check that its not still closed. Was headed up there 2 weekends ago (8th) and that whole basin was shut down due to the Upper Provo Fire. I haven't looked for updates since

Just mounted my 255/80/R17 in factory spare location. It’s tight, what say you all? Am I going to melt it? Closest point is about 3/4 inch from exhaust at factory heat shield location. 2 inches from rear diff, can’t move back or driver side any more. Drove around town in 95 F heat didn’t appear to heat up the tire to the touch.

There's a tiny heat shield. Maybe you could weld a bigger one on.

These showed up this week. Love these ratcheting wrench’s. I would’ve liked a longer length similar to the Icons, but GearWrench offered a complete set of about $11.50 per wrench.

I appreciate your positivity. Just flashed a different OV tune and went and pulled some hot laps on the I-215 east loop (3300 S to 6200 S and back). Tire was cool to the touch even with hot exhaust. Will continue to monitor.
I have the same box wrenches for my metric set. Have had them for at least 5-6 years and they have been solid.
