Hey guys, not sure where else to post this so here ya go!

My buddy sells for Toyota here in Orange County, CA and he just called me yesterday to tell me that Toyota Financial is offering 2.9 (On approved credit) for new TACOMAS!

He said that he's ever heard of Toyota Financial offering such low rates on the Tacoma.

If you are in the market for a new one and are local to Orange County feel free to PM me, I'll give you his contact info.

That is low! I wish they would offer 0% for 60 months like they do on the tundra. Then i might consider trading mine in on a 2011.

I was offered 2.9 for up to 5 years. Once you go longer than that it went up.

    Working on it
I'll just add a word or warning. It took over 3 1/2 weeks to get my current trucks title from Toyota Financial. I overnighted a bank check to them, and it was nothing but a nightmare after that, even though they cashed the check the next day. Instead of mailing the title to the original owner, they mailed a form that took 5 business days send to ask where to send it. Then we faxed the form and it takes 2-3 business days to just process the fax. then another 2-3 business days to process the form and mail it, then they mail it regular old non tracking regular mail (4-5 days). Every time they said 2-3 days, it was the latest date they could do it in.

It was a nightmare, if you ever payoff the truck and expect to get a title back fast to sell it, you won't. They were horrible. Do a search on the net there are plenty of bad comments about them. I thought those were just people with bad credit and problems, until I needed do something as simple as wait for someone to payoff a truck and get a title. The interney horror stories happened to me. I was calling everyday.

I wouldn't deal with them, my local CU will get me the title back when I pay it off in a few days, Toyota Financial will never get a dime of my money.

That felt good, I have been waiting to stick it to them, like they did to
    me :)

PS: truck was sooooo worh it though!

    Too few to list.
As far as I know, the 2.9 has been on since last month on Tacomas. You need a score of over 690 to get it.

Is the 2.9% advertised on Toyota's website?
We bought a new Taco last week, best we got was 3.2% for 60 months.
Put down a large chunk, and our credit scores were WAY higher than 690.
    :notsure:
