So it's just a bolt on and go?

    not enough.
what are bolt on and go?

the rotors? there is a spacer adapter you need to go up.
the brake pads? yes. just get the right pads, push your pistons back and put in your new pads and you're good to go (there is a "bed in" time/period. but you give it a good downhill and it should bed in just fine. unless you want to be meticulous. look up bed in procedures on youtube)
the new brakes? yes/no. there is some work involved.

I meant new brakes and larger rotor(s) - so you answered my questions!

Naturally I am hoping stock works fine for me, if not then I will step up the pads first.

    Thanks!

Spent the week up in Tennessee with a few friends and did some riding. So much fun, much different from Florida trails.

So, I picked up a used mtn bike at the beginning of the month and am slowly building up more and more stamina on it. I want to eventually be able to do trails around me but at what point should I even be able to start to think about that?

Ok, I'm tired of dealing with full of shit buyers who keep lying about their actual ability to buy a bike like this, so I dropped the price today to move it more quickly. $2750 OBO includes shipping from shop-to-shop in CONUS. Hit me up here or pinkbike. Or, if you're in AZ, CO, or NM, I'll just bring the bike to you for $2500.

As I stated earlier, I’d totally jump on this if I was in the market.
Just wondering about this in your ad.

“Prefer local pickup in the southern half of Arizona OR near Raleigh, NC”.

There’s a huge gap between those two regions. Just wondering.

New toy! And got some new toys for the new toy already but want to get a few other things also. The Stumpy comp carbon was a damn nice bike, but it doesn't compare to this in any category. Climbing, comfort, downhill, fun, flick-ability. Just need to spend more time on it. There is a back story to the upgrade, but I am waiting on the response of a claim before I tell the story. Cause it will completely dictate how I tell it. They are either a stand up company that takes responsibility or a POS company that is out to take money and not stand behind their products. Anyway I got a new bike and so far just threw on a set of Diety Racepoint bars in turquoise, Diety Lockjaw grey grips and took the Diety pedals from my stumpy.
