Better than getting a note in the mail (insert 1st gen Fox Walmart sale ), it was only a matter of time until someone did this. Someone will buy it, then complain that it wasn’t the authentic King shocks.

 

I went ahead and ordered a set yesterday. I'm starting to get a rotational noise that comes in at different speeds that I think is either the bearings or the tires because of my trashed alignment, but I can't tell. The hub assemblies aren't that expensive so I figure it's a good place to start since I will have the front end torn apart to do TC cam tabs and new LCAs anyway. The only thing that has me questioning it is the fact that I don't have any play in the wheels.

 

i didnt either. when it was on a lift and ran in 4hi i could hear it.

haha! There might not even be any lights to turn off when its time to go! 2nd wave of layoffs coming (disclaimer: this public news) gotta be careful with what i say.

Right now I'm sitting at my home office, I haven't been into the office since end of February. I really enjoy working from home, and I've probably saved 10k miles of driving, thousands in gas money, I might just move out of the state at this point and never return lol

 

Also not sure who would order 200+ sets of knock off shocks can’t see the knock off shock market being very hot

 

I wonder if it has to do with sema being cancelled.... i could see a lot of those rigs sporting fake kings just for the show

 

Dude! That’s my experience exactly. Gonna tow a trailer around Baja this winter setting up on beaches with cellphone service and “work from home”.

Yeah I have a 2yr old son as well but my wife doesn’t work and I already know I won’t have to be back in the office before spring at the Very earliest. Gotta capitalize on such a unique chance To not be tied to any particular locality.
Plus winters In WA at sea level suck. We’re from San Diego, all that winter sogginess is depressing haha

 

Story I saw said it was Western Equine Encephlomyletis (sp?). But no big deal they're very similar.

 

@Usethe2nd still haven't hit 500 miles yet on the new rear setup.....
