Krystalweizen is better, but a true pilsner is pretty awesome.

Have you ever been to Pilsen, CZ?

Nothing beats a well brewed pils. and this is one of the best I’ve ever had. I’m sad I can’t get them in California. I’d be there every damn day.

no I have not been there

Nothing beats a pils from Pilsen, except every beer made in Germany.

There hasn't been an American-made beer that compares that I've tried. There is also no American beer that I would consider to be great. Shiner and Yeungling are good, occasionally there's micro breweries that are good, but FDA regulations make our beer taste pretty bad compared to European beer.

I keep mine on my holster, if I'm driving for a long time then my holster goes in between the seat and center console.

Any macro beer (yuengling, shiner) obviously will never compare. It’s large batch brewed to produce volume. That’s all they care about. But I’d bet you good money if you had some of the beers from place I have you’d change your mind. One of the beers I have in my fridge they brewed with a brewery from the UK. There’s no FDA regulations that change how they brew, aside from maybe some super old world monks putting out Belgian style. The only thing in “normal” beer is water, hops, and a malt (barley). With technology today, you can mimic water Composition from anywhere in the world.

I don't mind it if I'm driving less that 1-2 hours. Longer than that, the holster comes out.

When I was skinnier, I could fit a better carry setup and could carry for 6-8 hours, no problem.

Doubtful. I've hiked up mountains in Germany to find breweries ran by monks for beer. I've also paid for guided tours in Eastern Europe for monastery beers. I've had a lot of beer in a lot of countries. :anonymous:
